LARA CROFT AND THE TEMPLE OF OSIRIS IS ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL

LARA CROFT AND THE TEMPLE OF OSIRIS

For those not up to speed, Temple of Osiris is four-player follow-up to the two-player Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. You choose between playing as Lara or another archaeologist named Carter, both of whom have abilities including grappling hooks and burning brands, or the Egyptian gods Isis and Horus, who can project shields and raise platforms with their magical staffs. A big part of the game is progression through loot-hunting and upgrading your character, but we've touched on that before. What today's play session really highlighted to me, though, was that while there's a wealth of titles out there with compelling stories and powerful narratives, Temple of Osiris gets back to the core of gaming: pure, unadulterated fun.
